This perhaps best describes this superb property completed in 2017 and stylishly decorated by two French enthusiasts with a passion for blending design and taste. Over many years of painstaking research, followed by searching at many auctions, they have accumulated a unique collection of objects and furniture from different periods that successfully blend modernity, antiquity and comfort.
The four bedrooms and the spacious living room, surmounted by roof terrace of 176 m2, overlook an infinity pool and the nearby sea. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the four hectare property you can admire sunrises and sunsets and the phases of Moon. Breathtaking 360 degrees panoramas allow you to see the Lido di Noto, the Bay of Portopalo di Capo Passero and the nature reserve of Vendicari, with its many beaches.
From the comfort of stylish lounge chairs in the living room through three broad windows of twelve meters you will marvel at vistas of the ever changing Sicilian countryside, with the sea in the distance. In the background the cicadas and crickets play an harmonious melody, occasionally to be interrupted by the distant neighing of a donkey.
From the heat of the day, or the cool of the mornings and evening the 11 x 4.50 meters pool surrounded by sun beds invites the visitor to relax.
With only the background sounds of nature here you will find peace and quiet amongst the olive and almond groves, and the cypress plantations. Two hundred laurel bushes red, pink and white, hedges of lavender and Rosemary, yuccas, chamaerops, palm trees, Bougainvilleas, jasmines, succulents, bananas all add to the serenity and timelessness of this exceptional location.
Cinecittà-Sicily is located 4 minutes from the picturesque town of Noto, 10 minutes from sandy beaches, 20 minutes from the historic city of Syracuse, 45 minutes from Catania and 1 hour from Taormina. Many locations around Cinecittà-Sicily have been classified by UNESCO with world heritage status.
Cinecittà-Sicily is a villa decorated by two passionate Frenchmen. Each room features furniture, decorations and paintings from different periods.
The Art Deco bedroom features a portrait of Guillaume Apollinaire, and above the bed hangs a 1930s portrait of a beautiful woman. On the bedside table stands a stunning chrome and bakelite desk lamp. On another piece of furniture a bronze statue represents the aviator Mermoz. Each room, is decorated with art and furniture representative of different eras, and everyone will find the room to suit their own personal tastes.
This bedroom is furnished with pieces from the 1960s and features a caricature of Yves Montant and an original JLD rattan lamp. In every room, including the living room, the chandeliers, sconces and mirrors have been carefully selected from auctions and sales rooms, just like the bedside lamps. Each object, painting and decoration fits perfectly, giving the impression of always having been there.
In the room decorated like that of a Russian Prince you will find a Biedermeier sofa with Zebra fabric, a mahogany armoire, a dresser from the eighteenth century, and a statue in bronze of an athlete of the 1930s. Each room represents its unique period. All rooms have a bathroom and all have modern comforts (air conditioning, central heating, 26 cm hotel mattress, 180 x 200 walk-in shower, bidet, WC and sink). Remote control offers the possibility to open the shutters allowing you to view marvelous sunrises from the comfort of your bed.

From the comfort of a deep velvet sofa in the spacious living room you can marvel at the ever changing vista and explosion of colours over almond trees and sea. Artistic paintings of the male form from the 1870s and 1940s face female nudes of the early 1950s. A 2.60 x 1.10 Carrara marble table allows to lunch and dine in comfort and style. A sofa and two armchairs in skai complement a huge buffet from the 1960s on which rests a bronze representing a hunter.
In the Bedroom of the King of Rome, a portrait of the son of Napoleon hangs proudly above the bed. In the distance is a portrait of his father that he was never to replace. In this room a desk allows to find the joys of writing with… a computer. Everyone will be able to find the atmosphere they seek.

The House has four rooms with double bed 180 x 200 each with its bathroom and sea view terrace all equipped with Bistro table and chairs, a kitchen, a large living room, a terrace on the roof of 176 m², an infinity pool with its solarium and sun beds and its own bathroom (shower, wc, bidet, sink).
The bathrooms are equipped with towels, carpet, bathmats and hairdryer (except for the pool). Towels and linens are changed in the middle of the week.
For a pleasant stay rooms are serviced daily.
Complementary sparkling and natural water, 10 liters of fruit juice, 100 coffee capsules compatible Nespresso, and a basket of fruits and vegetables.
Solar heating provides hot water and electricity is supplied by solar panels, making Cinecittà-Sicily energy-autonomous.
Options:
• On request, a chef can prepare evening meals and can purchase items necessary for breakfast based on croissants with ricotta, chocolate, pistachio, honey.
• If more accommodation is required an additional property of 146 m² with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, dining room and a roof terrace of 146 m² can be rented (pictures on request).
